  • Can you explain CLT Bijlmer to someone else?

We know how to explain Community Land Trust to the community and we would share it as much as possible.

  • What do you need to explain the CLT Bijlmer (even better) to someone else? Open question?

For us to explain Community Land Trust better, besides the social media platforms. It is important to share what is going on in the community and what creates the need for a Community Land Trust in the Bijlmer.

  • What are the most important criteria to be a candidate for a house

    Income

Time you live in the Bijlmer

Amount of time you invest in CLT Bijlmer

To have a job and/or be a student

    Other

Income: when it comes to affordable housing income should come first.

Other: homeless people, refugees etc(it should be a mix of different target groups)

  • Who can be a future candidate of CLT Bijlmer?

    Anyone

Only people with income lower € 39.055

Only people with income higher than € 39.055

    Other

The outcome was anyone from low income to very high income

  • What can the CLT do when someone who lives at the CLT complex doesn't fit the target group anymore?

When they don’t fit the target group we should look for another alternative.

  • For which (mix of) target(s) should the CLT focus first?

    1. We should focus on the people that don’t have a house

2.We should also focus on the families in our neighbourhood

  • How do we deal with conflicts?

    1. We should put up a group of wise men/woman who solve conflicts.

2.We should set up some rules and if people don't follow these rules then a mediator comes in.

    3. We need to make sure that both parties are heard before we take a desicion.

  • How does CLT Bijlmer make decisions?

    A majority model (50%+1)

Consensus model (100% have to agree)

Consent model (the minority vote is being taken into account)

    Other

1.When something goes wrong we shouldn't keep it close we should share it with the majority.

2.Sometimes the majority can be wrong so we should leave it for the minority that are in the situation to make a decision.

  • How does CLT Bijlmer make decisions?

The board prepares decisions for members

Members make decisions and the board approves

    Other

1.The board can only implement what the members have decided not approved.

  • Which capacities do we need for CLT board members?

1.Being able to count on someone (reliable)

2.Board members should be passionate about the whole concept (passion)

3.Someone who wants to serve the CLT and the members and not for their own gain. (Servant leaders)
